It's been a busy few weeks, but as it is hailing outside today we are taking a little breather and collecting our thoughts. Unsurprisingly, people don't seem to like shopping when tiny ice balls are hurtling through the sky at them...

Thanks to all the amazing customers we have met since opening. You have made the hard work well worth it! We are continuing to get an amazing response from the folk of Bristol. Word seems to be spreading the Gloucester Road is becoming the best and most eclectic shopping destination in Bristol. We are proud to be a part of it.

So our plans for the next few weeks are...

1.
Amazing new stock arriving, including this gorgeous new red rain coat (perfect if this weather continues...)

2.
Launch party!  Better late then never. We will be holding 2 events, one for Press and one for our customers. Get in touch if you want an invite to either! info@foxandfeather.co.uk

We are continuing to work on our website. We are hoping to have it trading within a month or so. It will offer a small snapshot of what is on offer in store, but it will hopefully satisfy the appetite of fans who don't live close enough to pop in regularly.

Hi Foxy People!

It is Easter weekend, time for chocolate, lazy days and happy times. The shop has been open 4 weeks tomorrow. It has flown by! We are loving every minute. We seem to have the loveliest customers in the world, but I suppose that is Gloucester Road for you. A crazy mix of people that all appreciate the good things in life!

Today the sun is shining and we are loving our Spring Bright Denim. All our denim is manufactured in the UK and is only £35. Show me a high street chain that can beat that! Can someone please tell Mary Portas that we are right with her!



As it's Easter and we are all thinking about chocolate (don't deny yourself, it's only once a year!) how about indulging in an alternative treat, gorgeous, girly and delicious- pink glitter bow lollipop £3.50.

Fox + Feather Now Open

Our beautiful new shop is now open! Come and say hi at 43 Gloucester Road, Bristol. The doors opened last Saturday and we are just about beginning to recover from the stampede!

For those of you following the progress of the new store opening, I am pleased to say the shop fit is well and truely underway. I will post some picture shortly. We have knocked down walls and revealed many cool things, a stained glass window, 1950's wooden shoe shop shelving and wallpaper of rollerskating rabbits....

Anyway, here is another little taster of things to come in the fox + feather once the shop doors finally open.

Eyelashes like you have never seen before! They will be retailing for £12. Lots of different designs will be available. LOVE.

Fox and Feather love Missco Girl

Oooh things are hotting up! I am very proud to announce that Fox + Feather will be the first UK stockist of the new Missco Girl handbag range, designed exclusively for the UK market and not yet even launched!

The range is perfect: beautiful quality, fantastic finish, gorgeous colours. Here is a little taste of what is to come... prices range from £30 to £55.

It's been a while but we are finally near to opening the brand new Bristol Fox and Feather store. I have some truely gorgeous brands lined up, all UK based, all new to Bristol! The main focus is on womenswear (ages 18-35yr) with a beautiful accessories range and a small collection of vintage fashion finds. Prices range from £5 to £70.

So now I need to create a lovely team to work in this beautiful store.

The store will be on Gloucester Road, Bristol and is due to open mid/end February 2012. I am looking for:

• Assistant Manager (part time): to work Sundays and 2 week days (flexible) approx 20hr per week
• Sales Assistant (part time) : to work Saturdays and possibly a couple of afternoons approx 10 hrs per week
• I may also be looking for a temporary Store Manager to work approx 4 months to cover the opening period

Applicant must be over 18 yrs old (no upper age limit!)

Be aware- these positions are sales positions, not cashier or admin positions. You will be expected to interact with each and every customer and showcase the brand. ello monki!

I just sat down to have a little whinge about the fact that it is time to put away my trusty espadrilles until next year. I have been battling on ignoring the soggy toes but I think today's torrential downpour finally has me beaten. That and the fact that the funny espadrille in decay smell is beginning to get a little embarrassing...Hmmm, maybe they should just go in the bin.

So I was going to check out my new shoe purchase options on the trusty old interweb, when I decided to check out Monki quickly before I did. And now I am just massively annoyed that there are no Monki stores outside of London (they opened a concession in Selfridges last week) and you can't buy online!

Monki is proper Scandi-cool. I'm not really sure what that means, but I'm definitely sure that cool Scandinavians would most likely be annoyed by that comment. Anyway, if you are going past Selfridges and want to get me a present here are a few suggestions. DO IT!

They have put together sets to help you part with all your hard earned cash. How kind.

You can sign up, become a friend and get a magazine. It's aimed at teenagers but who cares!
